I have a plus 4 swing arm that I bought brand new, I decided I need to do some other things to my shee before I put this on and need more money. So if you need a new swing arm pm me, I will let it go for cheap to any HQ member.

I am not saying that a no talent pussy could beat someone just because he has a better quad, but when it is all said done, it comes down to who has a faster bike ( in my experience) I go to the dunes and drag a lot, and once and while I will switch quads with people that i am losing too, and see if i can beat them on there quad or visa versa. I can honostly say 110% that the person with the faster quad will win, but thats why i said " I may be blessed" and i just cant understand why people cant figure out how to ride a fucking quad, 1. release clutch 2. hold on. Thats all folks, its really that easy. I build my bike to beat yours. Not train to beat yours.

Lately it seems, that a lot of people contribute winning or losing a race based on who is the better rider. On the track this may be true, but, as far as i am concerned if all you are doing is drag racing then its all about the bike. Maybe i am just blessed but it seems pretty simple to me, that when you are dragging someone, hit the fuckin gas till you have smoked the other dude. I love it, people are bragging left and right, " I beat a cammed, ported, piped, stroked, on NOS, with my stocker, let me be the first to call out BULL SHIT. it doesnt count if he gives a 100 yd headstart. Say it how it is, lose some of your pride for a second and tell us the truth, in the end that will help us out more then " my balls are bigger then yours" As the saying goes, "no replacement for displacement" and that is SO very true, I find it very tough to believe that a stock machine could beat a hopped up one, based soley off the rider. Thats like saying I smoked that Modded Corvette with my Ford Festiva, but thats because I have a aggresive riding style.

Its in Jackson Hole, at the Snowking ski resort, it starts tomarrow and runs through sunday, if you want to go, better take a camper; its all booked up. -
Just wondering if anyone else is going to be there. I have gone every year for the past 5-6 years and I must say if you are within range of it, you should go. It is by far the craziest weekend in Jackson all year. CRAZY SH!T happens. Cant wait to get there.

I am looking for a used, liquid cooled engine, anything between 400-800cc's. I am making a go-kart and so anything will do. I made one in highschool one time with a 440 snowmobile engine and i am itching to make another one, if you have one please pm me.

I got into climbing about 3 years ago when i moved to college, I played soccer for my college for a year but could not stand the coach so me and some buddies got into climbing. It is a blast, we have some world class climbing here,(salt lake area) so if you ever end up down here let me know.

Bigboybanshee, I dont think that was the point of the saying, i believe is refering to the type of riding that should accompany owning a 2stroke/banshee. If you even think that a 4stroke is comparable to hitting the powerband on a shee then you need to take the banshee stickers off your big wheel and try riding like you got set. as for me..... yeah, it sucks that they are no longer going to make the banshee, but i am satisfied with mine, so as far as i am concerned it just means there will be less competition.

If anyone has a stock or after market one please pm me and let me know,

How Did U Fall In Love With The Shee
onebanshee replied to sweetshee4312's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I use to go to the dunes with a buddy who had a 330ex, and I would always get stuck on his girlfriends quad a 250ex, it was ok in the dunes as long as you never left 3rd gear, anyway onetime we were at the dunes (in wyoming) and we were looking at this steep ass hill, my buddy was considering it on his, well as we were standing there this guy comes up on a banshee and he starts talking to us asking us if we are gonna shoot the hill, we both backed down and said we wanted to see him do it, he had a modded shee, every thing you can do he did, and he shoots the hill and starts to wheely up it, after that I was in love. I got a shee about a year later, and now when we go to the dunes my buddy can only get about half way up some hills that i am shifting into third-fourth gear. -
I finally got my +4 swing arm, I ordered it over a month and half-ago. Now my question is how involved is it to put the new one on, and what should I replace while i am doing it, thanks

You will be fine, if it is fuel injected, a filter on a car wont need adjusment, especially on a fuel injected stang, I had friend with 88 or 89 5.0 and he had a lot engine mods done, and never touched the fuel or air. So you will be just fi

*BULLSHIT* I would for sure go with chevy. In wyoming all my friends have chevy trucks and have never had problem, i swear by the bowtie, fords fourwheel drive system licks balls, and i would match any chevy up to the equal ford or dodge, anyday, but i honostly trust chevy way more then anything else.

What Was You First Time Like?
onebanshee replied to ninjamaster's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I grew up on a ranch in Wyoming so we had utility four wheelers, but when i was in the 6th grade we moved and sold everything. So i went untill my senior year with "really" riding a quad, a couple of friends had a 300ex, and a 400ex, and i would ride with them at the track, then my friend with the 300ex started to rebuild it and he put a 330 kit on, and so on, just redid everything i helped him do it, and in the process fell in love with quads again, so that next summer, a rich freind of mine had a banshee that he was going to rebuild but i asked him if he would just sell it and he agreed, for a 100 bucks, it was in pieces and a piece of shit, but none the less a banshee, so i have rebuilt engine completely, everything is new except the frame, shocks, and swing arm. The first time i rode a banshee was mine at the dunes in wyoming after i got all the work done, we pulled it off the trailer and my friend that had rode it before, said, "you gotta rev the piss out of it before you start out" so i pulled the clutch in and reved it up and let the clutch out, it kinda bogged down and spottered but once i got it going and hit the power band, i had goose bumbs and a grin from ear to ear, it was raw power. By the end of the day i was shifting up dunes that my friend could not even get halfway up. I love it. -
Mostly I go to school, College takes up tooooo much time. But this past summer I got into climbing and did that alot, in the winter i like to ski and snowboard, and love to go snowmobiling. I also race R/C cars, they are fuckin bad. Building hot rods, off-roading, basically if it has engine and has the capability of going fast i am into it, even if it doenst have an engine, if you can go fast doin it, i am in.

I use to run Holly on my truck, I had a '78 GMC with a built 350, i ran a holly on it for about 2 months and all i had was problems with it, it was never right, the last straw was when the float got stuck and filled my engine with gas and i had to tear the fuckin thing apart before starting it again or else it probaly would have blown sky high. I switched to a edelbrock and never looked back, I for one can tell you that all my friends that did off roading ran edelbrock and had no problems, Holly is an ok carb it just will never be as consistant as an edelbrock one more thing, I dont know if holly does but the carb i had on my truck (650 edelbrock) had different springs and such that you could use for different situations. I.E off road, mud, drag, whatever you could set it up for what you where gonna do with it. just my two cense

Which Quad Are You Beaten By?
onebanshee replied to Ultimateduner's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I have only lost once, and it was too a banshee, a fast as hell banshee, it was ported, bored, stroked, and the guy knew how to ride, other then that i have raced a couple of ex's, LOL, and a kawi 125, it was close but i pulled away at the top of the hill. the DS650 has also got the better of me once or twice -
Not to change to subject, BUT, Ski-doo sleds takes the cake man, nothin can beat them, they are way ahead of the game, and they frickin haul. I'll match one up against any other sled out there, but yes polaris is a nice sled, as far as there quads go, they are nothing speacial, tell your friend to get the new yam 450 or honda 450, the pred is all ready out of date in relation to what is out now.

Its possible to get it a snowmobile in the sand, but it would be a pain in the ass and huge dent in the wallet. The biggest problem would be your hyfaxes (sp) i have been out on ice, in negative degree weather and have the hyfaxes melt still, they need constant lube (water, snow) or else they will melt faster then you could put the new ones on. And boon is right to keep a sled cool in summer is almost impossible. Now its noy to say you couldnt set somthing up, I have talked to a couple of people about doin it and you would have to plumb the whole sled up track and engine, just to keep it running, I have seen four wheelers with snowmobile engines in them, not sure what cooling system they run, but if you can get it to work, it would be insane, best of luck.
-
I also get that feeling, that my qaud is not right, just remember there is more then one way to have your quad set up, thats what makes some fast and some slow. Just because someone does somthing different does not make them right, find what works for you and your quad and stick with that. Most of the shit said on here is theory, to be honost.

I have posted this many times so far, but no one will follow through, If you have an extended swing arm +3 or +4 I want it, actually I need it, mine is bent and i can't ride till i get a new one, So please if you have one, know where to get one, or anything please pm me or post back on here, thanx

I never said how much horsepower it had, we had the speed ESTIMATED at 150mph, with the gear ratio and tire size it should have done 150+, now if the engine would have actually pulled that i dont know, we did not have a lot of work done on the engine, but i know for a fact that with that engine and go-kart frame it would have EASILY done 90+ with the front tires off the ground the entire time. but who knows what it would have actually done, it was blast to build to though.
-
I gotta say that it is tough to beat the powerband of a shee, Plus i like knowing that when someone with a four stroke is talking shit I have nothing to worry about, my theory is "I can beat any four stroke" thats just kind of the way it is i guess, you cant compare. However I do like the Constant power of four strokes, my friend has a four stroke and i ride it every once in while in the dunes, i just ride if i want to just go cruz around and have fun, when i am ready race, hill shoot, or just haul ass my ass is on the banshee.

I go up to the Hill Climbs in Jackson Hole every year, those sleds are SICK, 250+ hp, in a sled is some crazy shit, I would give my left nut for one of those sleds lol, in high school me and four buddies built a go-kart frame, and then tore a old sled apart and slapped the engine in the go-kart, the engine was a 440, it was CRAZY, we had it estimated at 150mph, but we never got it goin that fast, the engine was old and we eventually got burned out on workin on it, so as of now it is sitting in a shed in Wyoming, waitng to be completed, all it needs is a chain, and some front tires, and little engine work, and this thing could go 150 plus.

Is there any place in Salt Lake or close to, that does good port work? I ride my shee in the dunes 99% what type of port work should i get, what should i tell the shop.
