I am finally looking for a new quad, and i have decided to get one of the new 450's. Has anyone seen or heard about the new kawi 450. I saw one at the dealer yesterday, they look badass, and their fuel injected. Does anyone know how fast they are suppose to be. I am looking at the new suzuki 450 but does anyone know, if you start doing mods, do you have to update the computer? or does the fuel injection automatically adjust for mods. Anyone opinions or facts are welcome, i need all the advice i can get. thanks all one

It's a 87, I had the motor rebuilt about 2 years ago and have only ridden maybe 7-8 times since. Whats up all, I had to share this story with all you. The other night at the bar while playing pool, some guys came up and asked us if we wanted to play teams so I said sure. During the game i noticed that one of them had a Honda shirt on and the other had a THOR shirt on so i asked if they ride. "Hell we live in the dunes" so i asked what do they ride quads or bikes and they both said they ride quads. One rides a TRX450 and the other dude said he rode a 250r with a 310 kit put on. Then they asked what I ride, I proudly said a banshee and they both started laughing, "yamaha, bomaha" he said. then one said "The banshee just isnt for the dunes, if you jump like we do then you need a Honda" I laughed and said, "yeah whatever, I am more into hauling ass around the dunes" the one with the 250r said he would race me anytime because he has never lost to a banshee. BULLSHIT. Especially runnin them up a hill. These guys were so full of shit i just ended the conversation there. Well about 20-30min later one of their buddies started acting tough and tried to fight my buddy, and it was on, lets just say they got their asses handed to them. Now i hope i can find them in dunes and kick their ass again only with my quad this time. (after i beat them on my shee i will proly beat there ass again just for talking shit on the bashee) thought you guys might enjoy hearing about some honda pussies getting worked, and they wernt even on their quads

I totally agree, prison should be a horrible place but all these stupid activist are trying to make prison like a motel now, some shows i have seen show people in prison who never want to leave because its a better life for them in jail than in the real world. but on the flip side, If there is a POSSIBILTY of the person being inocent, dont they deserve the chance to prove themselves, I dont think there is anything more fucked up than someone in prison for a crime they did not commit. espeacialy if they are on death row. Tooky for example still says he is inocent, and to honostly I believe that we still should give him a chance, if he has fessed up to everything else why wouldnt he fess up to killing the people. on the flip side of that, If he has not fessed up and their IS undeniable evidence of him killing all those people than i agree he should die, hell he should have died a long time ago, i am all for an eye for an eye, he should die how he killed those people. these are just my thoughts, i dont know all the evidence in the case so i cant say for cetain if he is guilty, but if he is shoot him in his motha fukin skull.

I would literly give my left testicle for a '67 camero, I would do a complete rebuild on it and put modern corvette parts on it, and it would defenitaly have to be pushin 600+ HP. Tithead, The H2 are still pretty badass, there not suppose to be like the real thing, the H2 was designed to be a "plush" ride, and i have seen them rally some shit that most trucks could not, they still can tear it up, but yes they are on the tohoe chasis, but i would take one in heart beat. The H1 are the coolest things out there, i have had the oppertunity to go off-road in one before and it was fucking insane some of things it could do without skipping a beat.

I have never had a good run in with any rangers at the dunes. One time at dumont dunes, we had just arrived and started to unload our gear and than a ranger showed up, he didnt say anything just started walking around our gear and looking in our bags and stuff and the only thing he said the entire time "Just looking for your weed" We just all started laughing at him and said good luck. Latert that night we were at comp hill watching people race. There must have been thousands thier that night, well me and my buddies all had a beer in hand and sure enough here come the rangers being complete ass holes and asking us for our id's, all of us but 1 were 21 and the one who didnt said he forgot his ID so the cops started getting flat out mean and threating us with all sorts of stuff, like drinking and driving, even though we werent in our car, public intoxication, even though everyone around had beer and whiskey, so the kid finally showed them his ID, and that only worsened the situation.He was only 19. His ID was old and not in that great of shape, the cornor of the laminate was splitting apart so the ranger litterly tore his id in half and said, well now you dont have an ID, and started accusing him of being an illegal allien, and issued him a M.I.P. and gave him a 100 dollar ticket. that was the last straw so i said something to the cop and he got in my face and told me to shut my fucking pie hole and proceeded to push his fingers into my chest, at that point my friend grabbed me and pulled me back and told me to shut up and let it go, well after all that they finally left us alone, but not ten minutes later we saw them cruzing around again and one of my friends girlfriend who was drunk saw them and started spouting off to them and telling them to arrest her for drinking, so here they came again, this time 4 of them and they searched our car for weed because now they had "probible cuase," they found nothing and eventually left. Whats funny is we actually did have a "chillim" (pipe) and they did not know what it was. So I agree rangers are assholes, but the very next moring the kid that got the MIP was out riding and rode off a razorback and got seriously messed up, my buddy came flying back to me and told me what happened so i jumped on my quad and followed my buddy to where the kid was and he was still unconcious, his helmet was cracked, he had blood coming out of his ears and nose. and it took about 5 minutes for the rangers to show up and stabalize him, they loaded him on an ambulance and took him to Las Vegas, on the way in to vegas he started coughing up blood and started complaing of pain in his stomach, turns out he had split spleen and liver and had to have emergency surgery. Moral of the story: even though they can be ass holes, without them he would have died.

this is in responce to the question about best way to ride your banshee: You guys need to chill the fock out, if you are too experienced to anwser all these questions than go start your god damn forum, I have had that question pop up in my head a few times, "where should i be running my rpms" and yes i do own a banshee, and no i am not in high school. Like when i am just cruzin the dunes i want to know if i should keep it in the powerband or just below, and please, i dont want a responce, "wide fockin open man, are you dumb" I am sorry, i must have forgotten how hard-core all of you are. I have been on this forum for about 3-4 years now, when i fist started people would anwser anything and everything ranging from jetting to gear size, now it seems like whenever someone has a question everyone tries to prove themselves as the biggest baddest banshee rider ever. I SAY FOCK YOU. Also people get pissed for being post hores, well if they all didnt anwser with dumb ass comments about how bad ass they and how fast THEY can ride than maybe there would not be so many repost asking the same question. If some people could anwser the question without hating on the other person than it would be a lot simpler. OK, this is kind of a long story but here it goes....' I was at St. Anthonys at the begining of the summer and everything was running fine the first day, climbing every hill, racing others and doing damn good, at the end of the day we put the machines up and head to the motel. the next day we show up and its raining a little so we wait for it to dry up and then head out. The banshee seemed a little slugish but i thought it was because the sand was little wet still, about mid day we headed over to choke cherry to watch some and climb. the day before i was hittin third climbing choke cherry, but when i tried the second day i got a good run at it and started going up about 1/4 way up it lost all power and so i had to turn around, i thought maybe i had a bad shift or something, so tried again but the same thing happend, but this time i just slammed it into 2nd and kept it wrapped up about 5 seconds later it lost power in second and i slammed it into 1st and barely crept over the top of the hill. My crew all came over to inspect to see what the problem was and we decided to take it back to the trailer, so i made a nice easy trip back to the trailer, about 10 -15 minutes into the ride, the left side shut down completely, so I hit the kill switch and waited for my crew to come back and get me. We got it back to the trailer and looked at the plugs and they lookd ok, maybe a little lean but not bad, also looked for metal shavings thinking i blew my left side, but everything looked ok, so i thought maybe my plug was bad so i went and bought two new plugs popped them in and headed out, ran awsome for about 5 minutes and then the left side went out again, so i hit the kill switch and got towed back in. My crew is pretty good on workin on qauds and stuff and we could not figure it out, eventually I said freak it and put it back into the trailer and finished the day on a friends quad. When i got home i tore into it, first i did a compresion check and that was good, then i checked for spark and that seemed ok, so i was looking at my plug wires and inspecting them when I noticed that my spark plug boot was barely connected to the wire, so i took it off and looked at the boot and noticed the screw thingy that connects them was rusty and nasty, so i went and bought 2 new boots, put them on and it ran good for about 2 hours and then it acted like it was way to rich, hardly reving and choking, so i went on a little speed run to try and clear the plugs, but then the left side shut down, so i hit the kill switch, and had to wait for my brothr to come and get me. And thats where i am at now, i have spent more time being towed on this quad then i have riding it. Whats the deal, is it the stator, coil & wires, or what, i am getting so tired of not being able to ride, HELP ME PLEASE. sorry for the long post, but thought it would be important THANKS onebanshee
