  3. ok i have about 1600 saved up.....i was going to put it into my 2001 banshee and port and polish it, 4mm long rod, and v-force reeds BUT my new boss has an 89 banshee for sale..it has old school fmfs on it, awesome plastic (factory), bored .40 over and all new stock 400ex tires on it. he drag races w/ his drag bike but doesnt have any time to trail ride anymore. this bike has had 3 tanks of gas run through it in 3 years. it looks almost mint. all the brakes work, all bearings are good. compression is there....he is selling it for 2500 but said he would sell it to me for 1800. sould i wait a week for the pay check and buy the shee or spend the money on my banshee now? if i do buy this banshee now then over the winter i a making my 2001 a strick drag bike and going w/ the 7mm stroker.....what to do what to do

  5. well i have a set of D&D pipes right now and i was looking to sell them and get some rockets BUT would these pipes be good for trail riding and pavenment riding,alittle sand, local drags and work good with a 4mm stroker? or are these not so trail friendly? all my friends run either fattys,SSTS, or T-5s. never even herd of these. so i want to give them a rude awaking. they dont know i am putting the stroker in it,port and polish or nothing. i am hoping to make there jaw drop when i go by them on the road. any input would be great. And also has anyone had any experience boring out the stock carbs? i am thinking about having it done due to a money issue for bigger carbs. thanks again

  8. i was checking out rocky mountain atv and i see where they have the trai ltech lights that replace the big bulky looking headlights on the shee......i think they looking hell of alot better....my question is...are these easy to install and are they as bright as the stock ones? i do ride at night a bit. thanks
  9. oh yeah and if you dont want a loud aftermarket pipe then these pipes are for ya....these pipes are pretty loud......louder then t-5s and CPI's.
  10. i have a nice set of D&D pipes w/ silencers i would consider getting rid of.....i am only getting ride of these cause i plan on buying some outframe pipes.....i would take $400.
  11. i am hearing a bunch of stuff now about v-force 3 reeds.....anyone running them yet? how do they preform? i am looking to get the 2's or the 3's......more HP w/ the 3's? any one know anything please fill me in...thanks.
  12. i had a simialr problem like this one......it would run lean on the right side.....and when i switched the wires it would do the same thing your bike is doing......after about a month.....my machanic did soem tests and after all the time it was just my spark plug caps.....they wernt up to specs.....i spend 10 bucks bought new ones and shee ran like a champ......

  16. i am looking to buy some fullbore plastic for my shee and i cant find anywhere where it shows all the colors for them. i want to be able to see what the colors look like on the bike b4 i get it. and what is the price range of the platsic? thanks
  17. i run D&D head..works great and looks good...but dont get me wrong NOSS makes a sweet head to....very nice colors and finish to them
  18. hmmm.....it says this kit is fine to run w/ stock cylinders and head. (i have a cool head though) i want to still run pump gas. and i plan on getting a mild trail port . i guess the stroker might not be what i am looking for. guess i might as well go w/ the big bore
  19. i wanna order the hot rod 5mm crank long rod. but what is the 4mm . or the other way around. i am kinda lost. here. and does any1 know if the hot rod crank comes welded? i believe this would put me at a 373 stroker on stnd. bore right? if i sound like an idiot then sorry. i am just asking ?s b/c i think you people out of all people will know what there talking about. thank you and i appreciate the help.
  20. i have a stock 350 right now w/ D&D pipes,D&D cool heads, k&n airfilter (no snorkel),boysen power reeds (v-force 2s on the way),...i am planing on getting a trail port and polsih done by some one. i dont know who yet. i ride alot of back roads, and trail, some sand pits and would like to drag at the local races. i want to put the weisco 4mm in my bike but what would the CC be of my bike and how much diffrence would i notice. i am kinda confused w/ the whole 4mm,10mm etc.. i was gonna get a big bore but herd these was much better and more realible. Also i would like to stay running on pump gas. and i plan on getting bigger carbs. help would be great. thanks
