Nevermind thanks guys. Called trailtech another 4 or 5 times. Finally got someone on the phone instead of the automated message. explained to them what was going on and the are hooking me up. Glamis is on.

Called rocky moutian and trail tech and they won't replace it. pretty pissed off. Going to keep trying but I went online to search part number and am having difficulty finding the light at a page that is not Japaneese. It says Phillips brilliant line Part number xxxxxxxxx (i am at work and don't have it) 35watt setup. Is one a spot and one a flood? HELP THANKS BENSE

What are you running and where did you get it?
-
You def want to replace the powerband its the first mod I did, but what everyone forgot to tell you on here is you don't want to put them in dry. they will lock up on you. You need powerband oil its kinda like shock oil and make sure you get the sythentic stuff. Its common sense but sometimes its not so common. They are right next to the modulator valve if you are having a hard time finding. Call your local atv dealer and they will hook you right up.

NEED A GOOD DUNE PORT. ONLY RIDE GLAMIS
-
Thanks guys. Actually my buddies ex-girlfriend still has her banshee at my buddies house all taken apart. I think we may pull a float swap
-
Yeah stock carbs at 21mm. I need to pick up a set of 33's. Nos head 19 cc domes, T-5 pipes, timing advanced +4, K&N, V-force 2's

So after putting the right float (only) in the left carb, it doesn't leak. I kept the left needle and seat in the left carb, just installed the float as a test. NOW anyone know what these run? Calling my yamaha dealership tomorrow.
-
Alright here is the deal. I have had the carbs in and out 5 times tonight. Its not a grain of sand, something has to be a little tweaked on the float. Its flowing out of the left (choke side) carb. My buddy came over that is motorcycle mechanic and was looking at it as well. He also can't figure out whats up. I think I am going to go out, pull the carbs off again. Pull the float off the right carb, and put it on the left carb and see if that seals it. If it does, then I need a float. If not, then who the fock knows. We even pulled the needle apart and the spring is working like is should. We thought maybe a hole in the float making it heavy and not shutting it off, but thats not the case either. I build drag boats and very mechnical and this one has me stumped, if this was a big block chevy I wouldn't have this problem. Off to troubleshoot more. Anyone has any ideas feel free to toss them my way. Thanks. Oh yeah they measure 21mm or very close with the gasket off.
-
Thank you much. I am going to head out and measure them. Last weekend I was dropping a cylinder, and I think its due to this problem fouling a plug.
-
I'm dripping fuel, hard to start. I had the carbs apart and cleaned them well. Put it all back together and same thing. Plugs are wet. Taking them apart again to check needle and seat but anyone know the stock carb float measurement. I know to turn it upside down and measure. THanks Oh and yes my chocke tube is in place.

Good question. Would like to hear more about chains.
-
What the best chain to run for Glamis? What is the difference in an O ring chain and the X ring?

to bore jugs. Any recommendations?
-
David...Thanks for your help. The bansh is running great.
-
Anyone have tricks for putting these on without buying the puller?
-
Yes I am running race gas. I know how to jet, have done it many times. I was bored so I threw this up. I am interested to see what the outcome is. I am thinking 340's
-
I am running 180lbs of compression at my house at 1100 feet, V-force reeds, K&N Filter with no lid, T-5's. I am jetting for Glamis which is actually a little below sea level. Where am I looking at? Anyone with similar mods, run glamis what jets are you running? I am thinking of going with a 330 and a 27.5 to start off with. Might be at a 340. I just put my head and domes on so I am trying to get it close before I shoot out there for testing. Thanks

Methods So That The Shee Does Not Get Stolen
Bense replied to xt45's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Milo Ruger makes great revolvers. They lack in the autoloader scene. Led Sigs are known for not jamming. There must have been something really wrong with it if you had consistant jamming. I have put 10,000 rounds through and old sig with regular cleaning 1 misfeed and it was due to ammo not the gun. If you read up on them, thats what all the gun mags rave about is how reliable a sig is. Plus they have lifetime warrenty. If you think somethings wrong you send it back to them and they WILL take care of you at no cost. Check out this link if you are interested in 1911's and sigs Led. They are going to be making one. http://www.sigarms.com/news/index.asp?display=detail&id=57 My gun compensated is 1600 dollars. Thats kind of expensive due to 450 dollar glock or some 400 dollar ruger, or smith. Thats also why a lot of the pros use them. Kimber makes a good 1911 style pistol though. Shooting autoloaders past 25 yards for practice is just pointless like I already stated. You take a colt python and yeah you can run her out 60 yards. Oh a side not, I took a beretta out the other day and I almost threw the gun in the trash. What a piece this beretta was. Out of 2 mags I had 4 misfeeds and 3 jams.
