i got a plastic gallon of milk jug that i cut in half and use the lower half for extreme riding.. but when i'm putting around i use my oneal venom helmet.. it lightest helmet of market that is carbon fiber.. cost me 189 bucks...lot more then my milk jug it was 4 something... -
the coolant just comes out of the discharge hose...when i take cap off it does not bubble...also the coolant does not pour out it just kinda has a steading drip unless going real fast...kinda like if gravity is helping it come out...it was doing this before and after i relocated the bottle, changed the billet water impellar, inline cooler, orings and gasket....
-
i'll double check it tomorrow but i'm sure i got the exit hose on top.... thanx for the responces thou i guess if hose is not on wrong it has to be the cap....
-
if you had the exit hose hooked to the bottom it wouldn't just run out?????
-
yeah the hose are hooked up right other wise the water would run out sitting there... and the jetting is good.. i have 320's on main. running shaved head, dmc pipes and clamp on's. some porting work if anything i'm rich ... also i don't think is overheating cus it will run out right after i start it up and do a 6th gear run...plus it don't seem to be hott...
-
ok here is the deal my banshee has been puking water for a long time .. in the time it has been doing this i have replaced... water impellar, oring, gasket, relocated the bottle, inline cooler... so what else could it be???? only thing i can think of is a rad cap ... it runs great so i know it has to be something simple... if cap is bad where can i get a billet one for my full bores...
-
i rode got1's banshee and it was same way loco... real bad dead spot before powerband...we was at the dunes so his bike was spinning bad but i think my bike pulled harder....but i have better tires then he had too... by the way anyone heard from rick latly??? whats he up has he got his running good yet....
-
i have an airbox... let me know if you want it...
-
you might check the wires going to your plug wires .. they are right there by the right side pipe up under the tank... my brother's banshee was backfiring and bogging real bad and we found that one female connecter was lose so it was arching and not getting spark right even thou we would pull the plug and have spark...we fixed the female end and runs like a champ now..

me and my brother are thinking of planning a trip to sand fest .. weekend of sept 11th i think... just wanted to know if anyone else has plans for sandfest.....
-
i would just like to say no matter what biulder i would use ... i'd rather wait a lil for some baddass motor then to send to poodunghill engine biulder and get it back fast and screwed up.... so grr, patriot, passions can't go wrong i don't think....i would think most ppl that want alot of work done plan way ahead anyways for the wait....
-
denton sells them, lsr racing sells them too.and i think bdbanshee has some from another company but can't think of the name.... they are all basically same price as wider a arms...i like lsr cus they are called v arms and look pretty strong but they cost more then the others....
-

with slides in position and no one pushing thumb throttle they should be all the way down but the slide is kinda a half moon.. so yeah you would have a lil space in the middle...as for the choke tube is is a simple tube between the two carbs towards the front just make sure the tube connects the both... -

bansheefreak replied to Bansheeman1121's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
so did you make sure you have choke tube on??? also did you have other carb top off??? if you did you may have put slides in wrong carbs if you do this it will flood it all the time pulling or kicking.... becus it make it like a choke...i know slides only go in one way but if you cross them they will go in backwards....so if your getting spark and runs with gas poured in it has something to do with the carbs...put your pet cock on reserve to make sure you are getting gas....my brother banshee wouls start with gas poured in but not any other way we put new carbs on and fired right up ... but one of the original carbs had a stripped top so thats why we replaced them... -
we got some cat stuff.... would biuld i nice track... like 627 twin engine scraper,2 257 track type skidders, few 963,one 973,and a d7 lgp... what ever needs done we can do it... we have others too.... i am the guy that moves and runs the machines... so machinery is awesome to me.... cool tractor there redish!!!
-
i would also add what loco said plus a single axle reacts to qiuck when backing and a tandem is alot easier to back, easier to pull, and if you have a flat and don't have a spare you can still pull it down the road....
