wouldn't the 400ex motor be heavier than the warrior? well, maybe not cause the trans case on the 400 is smaller than the warrior's. I've never ridden a warrior, so could someone tell me if it bogs down in 6th gear like in a field with tall grass or like going up a hill on a blacktop road.

I need some advice on building dirt jumps and some tips on jumping. The other day I built a nice little dirt ramp for my trail bikes and my 400EX. It is about 2 ft high and I usually hit it pretty fast (about 3rd or 4th gear). I dont get very high, only about 4 ft off the ground. But I land pretty far out, close to about 35 ft. How can I add on to it so that I can get higher without landing farther away? After I build it bigger I'm gonna make a landing ramp. What advice do you have for jumping a quad cause I suck at jumping on a four wheeler. I jumped the 35 feet on my honda crf 150. I really need some help cause on the EX I always either land to far on the back wheels or I nose dive and almost go over the handlebars (by the way, I'm hitting the jump in 3rd about half throttle)

Which one would win in a drag race? raptor 350 or 400ex? There is really not that big of a difference in engine size. I was kinda thinking that the raptor 350 would cause it is a 6 speed.

how fast is it compared to a 300ex?

Anybody know anything about the kawasaki mojave? is it a very reliable quad? Does the frame, suspension, brakes, etc. hold up good? Is the motor very good and how fast will one go? I'm thinking of getting one for just playing around in the field and putting on the trails.

Hey I just got me a Savage 25! Me and my brother put our money together and bought it. that thing is a beast with almost 5 inches of suspension travel! It runs pretty good but I only got to drive it one time cause the second time I tried to start it the shaft for the starter broke.

Its a pretty slick quad. It has a raptor front end and a YFZ 450 ass end. whats up with the front bumper, it looks plastic? It has a pretty good skid plate. the back light looks kinda funny.

Anybody here know anything about pocket bikes? I was watching some movies of some at www.bikepics.com and now i'm thinking about gitting one. One I looked at was $750 including shipping. It will go about 40+ mph and its only a 47cc motor! Any opinions?

I have rode mine wide open stock and slightly moded for much further than a 1/4 mile down hill even and lucky to hit 80. how can you come on a site called BANSHEE HQ and expect people to belive that shit? Well, you'd have to be running a 17 tooth up front and a 41 tooth in back, or a 16/40 with 20" tires, and thats 104 mph at 11,000 rpm, but at 8,000 rpm thats a mere 75.5 mph. A 15/41 with 22" tires, will give you a 105 mph at 11,000 rpm, but at 8,000 rpm your running 76 mph. I don't believe a stock banshee will get much over 8k or 9k rpm, not sure exactly. Not too mention you'd have to have some cool power to pull that last little bit. Not going to happen with a stock shee. I'm sure someone can help me out on the rpm info of a stock and modded shee. I need to get a tach for my bike. How do you know all this? Are you like the banshee einstein?

4 stroke pipes are nothing but a waste of money. When I spent $250 on a white bros T-4 pipe for my ttr-125, I thought it was going to be awesome. But all it did is change the sound a little bit and make it rev just a hair faster, and it kinda looked better than stock. If you want power just take the whole end cap/spark arrestor out and it will give you more power.

I got a question. On the pic with the dyno, why does the purple line (gas gas wild 450) drop straight down between the 9 and 10 rpm range? I agree, the 450r lookes shitty without the fenders. Will you be able to get different plastic like a 250r to change the stupit front end? I hope 05' isnt the last year for the blaster. That thing is fun as hell to ride or mess around on. Just about all my friends who ride has a blaster so its a popular quad where I live.

what about a four stroke (like my ttr 125)? The longest I've held it wide open is about 4 to 5 seconds. Will it blow up if I hold it too long?

Oh my god, that looks stupit. It looks like a banshee front end, except some really fat guy set on it and squashed it . What the hell kind of a-arms are those and wheres the swing arm? Aside from the motor, I think this quad looks kinda gay.

Around where I live and ride the longest I could probably hold it on the road would be about 15-17 seconds before you get to a sharp curve. So far the fastest thing I've seen go down my road was a cr 250 wide open at around 80 mph. That may change when I get my banshee.

I was wondering how long you could run a banshee wide open going down say, a long stretch of pavement. I've heard that if you hold it for longer than 10 sec. that it will blow the motor up. Is this true?

How often do you have to do motor work on a 85/100cc? Does it rev higher than a 125?

I didn't say I was putting a cr 80 motor in a ex frame , I just said that as an example cause I saw it in a magizine for little kids racing. I was thinking more of a cr 250 motor in a 400 ex frame.
