good -grief Come on Everyone.... shake hands and lets find something else to talk about. Everyone so far has their point of view and nothing is changing and it looks like never will. I'm sure if Lee sees something bad he will do something about it.
  2. I installed a Vitos tor removal about two years ago....I like it
  3. B A N S H E E
  4. Buuurrrrrrrrrrrrr
  5. We are going the first weekend of October? Hey 421banshee.....Just wanna say thanks for the freedom, your not forgotton! Hope to see ya at the Dunes...stay safe.
  6. I think I still have my stock black lever. ...If you haven't found a lever yet give me email and I'll see if I have the front braking stuff you need. I have alot of stock parts in storage.
  7. I am selling an upper and lower clear radiator hose set which I bought off of ebay. These are the clear hoses and are brand new. I thought I could fit these on my shee.... it didn't fit. My shees' stock frame wouldn't allow the hose to bend from the water pump outlet. If anyone would like these Drag hoses they are yours for a $20.00 + $3.00 Shipping.
  8. Honestly....I've tried the boost bottle years ago and I couldn't tell a difference. I ended up putting my stock balance tube back on at that time and I haven't regreted it so far. With the stock balance tube I have more room to do any adjustments I choose to. (quite convenient.....lol...Thanks Yamaha!) I bet the person who designed the boost bottle is still laying on some sandy beach somewhere grinning and drinking umbrella drinks at our expense.
  9. The only water pump covers I have sitting around is stock..... outer cover and the inner.
  10. I have a red shroud in great shape if you haven't found one yet. $18.00 shipped
  11. Does anyone have a Billet stator cover with flames they would like to sell? Thanks.
  12. How much and do you have pics of the billet side cover? Thanks.
  13. I have been looking at the Dyna ignition too. This is a good topic...Has anyone used this product?
  14. Have you sold your Trinity Dyna ignition yet?
  15. Everyone!!! Thanks for the inputs on the klotz techniplate. Thats why I stay with this site....banshee riders here stick together. I'm gonna run techniplate....I ran klotz benol at 32:1 and 91 octane with 260 jetting and my plugs seem more a blackish Brown. Is 32:1 with the techniplate? I know its better to be alittle rich than risk it lean. Just want to make the drink for my shee smooth with no hangovers....LOL.
  16. I use the trail tech torch lighting and my stock low/high light switch. I don't have to worry about turning my lights on high since the torch lights uses your off/low part of your stock switch. Trail tech torch puts out a heck of alot more concert lighting than the banshee stock high beam with one flip of your thumb. Your high beam isn't needed anymore. I use the stock stator and never had problem. Plus the shee looks so darn cool in the day light with that chrome. Remember to keep the lights clean and polished....maintanence!
  17. It all comes down to what you want your shee to do. I'm into shees for the long haul and I ride dunes, fields trails and occasional drags. I went a light bore w/ weisco pro lite .020 K140 rebuild and got rid of my stock clutch then installed a Barrnett Dirt Digger clutch. I run stock 26mm carbs jetted 260 on my rebuild with New stock intakes. I wanted everything that might have airleaks sealed up......My shee revs to the moon and puts alot of rip under my 6'0, thin, personal weight of 150 lbs. What kind of riding do you plan on doing?
  18. I tried the Boss billet intake about 2 years ago and ended up going back to my airbox and New stock intakes.
  19. I have always used klotz Benol in my shee. Does anyone know anything about the klotz Super Techniplate or have used it?
  20. I run VF3s' with stock airbox, stock boots, 2 new stock intakes, stock carbs at 32:1 klotz benol and my shee still pulls like a freight train. My mods are in my sig, I'm not sitting on a big bore....just alight .020 w/ weisco pro lites ( K140 kit).
  21. :ermm: I am wanting to put some pictures of my shee into the gallery but they are too large. Can anyone help me with step by step from storage?
  22. I ride alot of fields and dirt! I run Maxxis Razers 20x10x10 (Douglas .160) on my 97 shee and had no problem grabbing earth when needed. My rear hubs are from an 89 banshee which gives me the same width bolt pattern as my front hubs. I run a aftermarket 15 tooth front sprocket with a stock rear sprocket along with the size 10 wheel but my tire height remained the same as stock. I feel that my shee performs well. I chose maxxis razers because of the narly look of the beefy x's and the flat track appearance. I took my shee to St. Joe national park and my razers never had a problem on loose sand like chat. In the trails I had the traction and in the soft flats I could feel my shee pull hard. Don't just take my advice though.....everyone runs different earth grabbers on their shees. Razers work for me and thats my choice for the life of my shee.
  23. Does anyone have a nice flamed banshee rear brake rotor they would like to part with? I need one in great shape. Thanks.
  24. Was anyone from the HQ at St. Joes park near Potosi, Missouri around a week ago?
  25. I'm looking for a 2 or 3 tube front bumper for my 97 Shee. I've seen them in Billet and aluiminum and was wondering if anyone out there in Banshee country would like to part with a good one. Please send pics and asking price. Thanks .....rip_a _Strip!!!
