Fairly new Dell. Haven't called them, but probably will tonight. We had a power outage and lots of lightning. It's powered through a surge protector. The power button won't work. You have to unplug then when you plug it back in, it comes to life. However, the initial Dell screen comes on for a very short second and then the screen goes blank like the computer is turned off, but the computer light is on and the power button is nonfunctional. Not sure what to do, but beat on it.

i think it'd eat butter cup in one bite. my other tractor is just like the one on the first post, but without the cab, i decided to get a cab this time, since i always regretted not having one in the first place. we use them here for hay production all summer feeding cows in the winter, planting winter wheat in the fall, light dirt moving and odd loading jobs around the ranch, i also keep a set of forks handy with my "old" tractor. those forks are used more than any other thing in regards to that tractor, it's unreal how handy forks are. we also us them for fence building, digging holes, moving pipe or whatever to and fro and moving concrete around. We also have a 125x230 roping arena that we have to drag and water every day; I don't do it, but the guy that works for us on the ranch does. We have an old 100hp Ford tractor that we usually use for that and pulling the muck spreader. Our tractors stay pretty busy. This new one is more of a toy for me to be spoiled with. Never had a tractor with a/c and a cd player. I didn't put a loader on the new one, but I might this winter. I haven't built a little track yet, but I really want to. Maybe someone can come over and help me lay it out. That's the main reason I haven't is laying it out.

I've always had some sort of an issue with FMFs leaking a little, never spattering like you say, but a little oil coming out is what I've gotten used to. Might be a little of the two types not fitting well with each other and some to do with the overall FMF fitment. Dunno.

now that might be an idea.

but what I'd really like is this: or how about this IFS machine:

Gonna pick her up Thursday. My '99 5510 will be paid off this month, so heck, might as well replace it with another payment. She's a 90hp 5520 4wd John Deere. Don't you just love green???

Damn, sorry to hear your having trouble with the bolts, I was afraid you might. You could try some PB Blaster, or an air hammer to break the heads off. Try an impact, that's what i used. Good luck. Later, Scott

What are the main things to maintain.

Dipstick, didn't know we had one of those, where the hell is it? -
Most parents know that leaving an unattended child around a pool is a no-no, so why would it be alright to leave a child with a big four wheeler? If the kid drowns it's the parent's fault, if a kid injures or kill himself on the quad, it's the quad's fault.

there are no pros and cons. simply put, forged is better because it is stronger than cast. cast isn't necessarily bad, but when your running 180lbs in each cylinder and your pushing close to or over 100hp, you'd be much better off with forged.

I would kinda be interested to see how it runs, whether it will be seriously choked or actually run pretty good. Let us know.

Hot damn, I'm famous. Ben, that looks awesome, and there is loads of great info. I need to take like an hour and read it all, as I'm sure I could learn a lot. Seriously, looks really good.

Whatsup y'all. I was thinking of getting one of the inexpensive swingarms on ebay. Erbilabuc said he's ran one and I've heard of a few others and all have said they are super stout. They come primered and ready for paint, or for another $100 they'll chrome it. The additional $100 for chroming isn't bad and it would be about the same for a powdercoat job, but still, I'm a cheap ass so I was thinking of using some Duplicolor and putting a metallic YZ Blue color on it. My question is... can I put a decent enough paint job on it with the Duplicolor so that it will last for awhile, or should I rule that out altogether. If I was advising someone else, I'd probably say, quit being a cheap ass and fork out for powdercoating. I don't want chrome, I want a metallic blue color, so it's either duplicolor or powdercoat. Later.

i'm really unsure of how it will perform. it will be hindered quite a bit with those stock pipes. personally i'd wait until i could get some pipes on it. i'm not sure about the jetting either, because i'm not sure about how much air it's going to flow with porting and all and stock pipes, but it ain't gonna be what you want. three words: get some pipes.

Hey Sredish, why would you put the lid back on in the winter? Wouldn't it breath better wheather its winter or summer? because the colder denser air needs to have bigger mains, or you can cheat and restrict air flow a little. but dont forget that if you ditch the air box youll need to fab/buy a bracket to relocate your water bottle yep, helps keeps her from getting lean over the winter without rejetting, although, sometimes I end up rejetting anyways. It's pretty easy to rejet when you only have one carb.

Too much

go up to a 330, you should be rich there, and if still no color, check for air leaks.

and a helmet and gloves. Carry a spare set of plugs and your good. After that, just have fun. -
Maybe your float bowls are not adjusted properly.

I used to be able to do it with my Sprint phone. Just take a look at the optional accessories before you buy because Sprint is great about having a "full featured" phone but not having the accessories to use the features. I had a Touchpoint and later a Kyocera that I could hook up to my laptop and be surfing in just a few seconds. My new phone has a Palm OS and will connect also, but I haven't figured out how to do it yet and the need hasn't been there. Later.

I'm there.

"ATVs are not Toys." Hmmm, I would have never guessed. So that's why I can't find them at Wal-mart and I have to be over 16 to ride one.

I'd tell her the only way she's getting on the banshee is if she's naked.

Hope it works out. For the record, I have a late '03 6.0 and it runs fine as does my dad's early '03 6.0. I know exactly what you all are saying, and the 7.3 is a bulletproof motor, except for the bolts in the the turbo housing base that can leak oil like crazy. I wish I still had my 7.3, although my 6.0 would spank it's little ass. What's better about the '03 than the '04 you ask? Oh, well I'll tell you. The rear seat in an '04 doesn't fold forward like typical crew cabs used to; the bottom seat folds forward and down creating a flat surface or whatever. There is zero space for anything like subs, or amps, or whatever. That is 100% exactly why I searched out fort the perfect '03. Anyway, hope it works out boonman, you'll have a sweet ride, as does Evil. Evil, when can we hook up and race brotha??

10w30 won't hurt. In fact, I use 30w for my 500 4x4 quad.
