I am half way around the world, just came in from the bar and I am surfing the HQ....Only way I know to spend deployment.

I have a 2000 silverado reg cab short bed. I get between 12 and 16 mpg empty. Its nice to have the v8 but man i tell you what it hits the wallet hard it costs like 260 a month to put gas in it. thats more than my insurance. i dont think i'll have a 4banger again been down that road no power at all.

I got qualified as a machinist back in high school At a Vo-Tech school. I would say that most places just look for the general certification as a machinist and they will teach the programing side. I know that working with a cnc isn't that complicated. Where are you gonna go to school at?

Does anyone know if ITP rims have different offset than stock rims? Reason why i ask is beacuse that when i put mine on they seemed to sit wider. Well now i need to replace one after i mangled it so i would just like to replace the one that is bent have and not both front rims. I cant actually look at the rims to see if they have any markings on them untill 2 weeks from now and i would like to ride some instead of waiting for rims untill after i deploy. Does anyone have one t-9 ITP rim for sale if there is no different offsets? thanks

hood I dont know if that would fit but I am gonna get a functional one for my silverado. As far as mods go with some flowmasters, the 4.3 sounds pretty good with them. I run a K&N on my truck right now it helps alot. I run K&Ns on all my stuff, I havent had a problem yet, just keep them clean and oiled. Try here too parts Ive been looking to mod my truck for a while now. Just have to look and there is all kinds of stuff. I dont think i would ever lower a truck I am partial to stock ride.

All good points, I am leaning torwads keeping it. It just gets aggrivating as hell to know its in a garage not doing anything for six months. Its paid for so it aint hurting nothing. I got stuff for it that i bought from last deployment i still need to put on it.

Does anyone know how to register a gun? I have a 9mm pistol that I am trying to get registered. I need to have it registered in VA. Any help on this would be appreciated.

Ok here is the issue at hand. I am in the Navy, I spend 6 months away from home a year. I ride my banshee once in a while, and every time i do i end up breaking myself or something on it. I just got done fixing it from the last time i came home and i am getting ready to leave for another 6 months. I hate to do it but I think I am gonna sell it, I would rather have somebody get some use out of it than it sit in a garage for half a year. I deploy next month. Its in ohio. I have lots of stuff done to it and some random extra parts for it (lowering kit, handlebars, etc) It runs good. I mean hell its practicaly got a fresh top end with 10 hours max on it. should I sell it or let it sit. I have a raptor but i let my dad use it while I am gone, no one at home will ride the shee they are afraid of it.

OK...its a dumb idea at best. But where on earth are you gonna ride that thing? And why does he have a winch on it...where is he gonna get stuck in the hood. some people should never be allowed out of their house this thing ranks as ultra gay.

When I bent my hoop I used a big friggin hammer to un bend it. It took likw 2 min. Had to beat the shyt out of it. It was a task just to get the tank out to do it but when in doubt hit it with a BFH.

I love mine, I used to think it was bad on has milage but I was just mistaken on how much I rode. I started taking it on longer rides and i havent worried about having to fill it up even if im hard in the throttle all night. I love the power I have down low and still have good top. I like the fact that I only have to jet one carb. I jetted mine in the winter and i really didnt see that much of a differance when it got warmer out.
