who did the work and was the cases split, i just went threw the same thing. i replaced the seals in the bottom end put it back together, it started right up but smoked really bad. i went threw this 3 times the more gas i gave it the more it smoked, it looked like a crop duster. but it ended up being this stuff called three bond that i bought from a motorcycle shop in my area. it would dry nice as soon as the gas hit it, it would soften up. well good luck man, hope you get er runnin Edit: Fixed your quote up for ya.... boon
