hi all and can some one help me with the single carb setup and jetting it up . i got it for 235 with every thing cable k&n carb mount filter ... but i dont know if it is 33 or 35 how to recognize them from each other this carb has a number on it it start with 70 R i think and i open it yesterday and found that it has 48 pilot jet and 175 main jet but didnt check the needle position . as for jetting where should i start with the guy that i get the carb from told me it will be ok to run it like this with out changing the main jet so my set up banshee is non ported engine with 64.25 stock pistons boyseen power reeds ported reed cages fmf sst pipe milled head and gyt-r ignition and im at sea level with hot weather . so any starting point start with for the main buy the way my stock carb jets is 340 right know and works great . -
ok Banchetta but why when i install the biger rim's i feel the banshee is more heavier like im draging a rock behind me.
-
thanks i have this speed calc. but i dont know the equal size of the 10" rims and 20x11x10 tires on it to the 9" magerments
-
hi all and can any one help me with the gearing and wheels and tires changes i have 2003 banshee with fmf sst pipe with 2 into 1 air filter toomey and miled head and stock tires and rims with 15 front and 41 in the rear spracket and my banshee runs great in it . and my rear tires wear out and its time to change them with the other set i have and it is 10" itp rims t-9 pro with turf tamer 20x11x10 so do i have to change the gearing back to stock in the front 14 or what do you think i dont want to but to much load on the gears with the biger rims and i ride on the streets some times and drag racing some friends on flat tracks sand and long runs some times in the diserts and what i need is the same calc. of the old set up of my gearing with the new rims i have .

hi all what do you think guys of the FMF sst with the single carb 35 from trinity is it going to work will or what ? and my motor is stock non ported . and i heard that the FMF sst is all around pipe but for the top end where it will cut off on which RPM because i use to have trinity stage IV and i like the top end of it but it boesnt have that much of low end and some people told me that the trinity pipe will not work will with single carb so im thinking of the fmf sst .
-
hello any one need help over hear
-
ok what is the best pipe to use it with the single carb from trinity with out porting and i ride mostly drags with friends and long rides and some hills climing
-
what do you mean in pro circuit .more of a top end pipe, not much low end
-
hi all and i want to know the power of theas pipe's . 1- trinity stage IV . 2- CPI pipe . 3- pro circuit . 4- DMC aliens . 5- FMF SST and fatty . 6- DG pipe . i want to know which one has the best performance and which one has the low end and the mid range and the top end and for the top end which one fouls out faster and which pipe will work great with the trinity single carb on non ported engine . Ps: im thinking of the trinity stage IV pipe
-
im trying to get the cpi inframe pipe but it will take some time because im waiting for my friend to bring it for me for good price so untel that time i want to get the single carb because i will get a good price for it thats why im asking all of thes questions about the 33 or 35 single carb and which one to get . so ( sredish ) you sayed that its ok to get the single 35 on stock pipes with non ported motor and will gain a littel power over stock carbs right and i heard from some people says that the single 33 is for stock motor non ported and the 35 single is for ported motor . and ( sredish ) did you try the single 35 on stock non ported motor and where did you feel the power at ?
-
hi thear thear is a special plat that trinity racing sells them for the single carbs and you can use it for stock airbox . http://www.trinityracing.com/products/yama...cvmanifold.html copy the link and paste it
-
so as for the single 35 carb can i use it in my stock motor now with out pipe and no porting change just add the single carb or do i have to get the 33 single carb for non ported motor
-
so can i use the single 35 right now on my stock motor and when im ready to upgrade my motor i can use it also on the stroker crank with porting and still give me more power ..
-
thank you for replying put right now im thinking of geting the carb 1st so which one should i get the singel 33 or the dual 28
