  1. I don't know about the whole kit, but you could get the crank assembly here, cheaper than the Wiseco site. You still would have to get the 795-series piston kit and matching gasket set. http://www.pistons-online.com/crank.asp?model=Yamaha%20ATV
  2. Who has the best deals on V-Force Reeds?
  3. hey 97 redshee, Who did your Duner Port job and for how much? Also did you get a chance to feel the difference with the Duner Port compared to stock before getting the 4mm stroker? Or did you do it all at once? I want to get a Duner Port job from Patriot Racing, then eventually maybe get a 4mm stroker also.
  4. weight plays a huge factor in drags up a hill. Once upon a time when my shee was brand new I was weighing 180 Lbs. I was smoking all of my friends with the same set-ups. Now that I have blew up to 240 Lbs, I hardly win anymore. Damn I need to get back into the gym. Anyways your 150 Lbs. friend could probably gain another 4-5 bike lenghts compared to you riding it. I know my little brother can.
  5. Just curious if anybody was going to this years FSW at Glamis? Has anybody been to the previous FSW also? I would like to see firsthand what these new fourstrokes are capable of, especially the ones modified by Curtis Sparks. Supposedly they have a Sparks- prepped Raptor 690 that smoked a 420 long rod alcohol drag Banshee repeatedly up the hill! According to ATV connection, Sparksracing is the defending champion two years running

  7. hey Banchetta, currently I have Fatty's with the PD foam set-up, lid on with 260 mains. ( Everything else stock at sea level). What size mains should I start out at if I were to cut my lid AND switch to the PD K&N set-up? Thanks.
  8. maybe i just might try boring out my stock carbs to 28mm instead of spending on new pwk's? Where can I send my stockers to be bored out, and for how much?
  9. Where is the cheapest place to get a set of these including the thumb throttle cable?
  10. Magicracing.com has them for $149.95 and they even throw in the wrist pin bearings for free. It's a complete kit. You should only get a bore job if you need it like if your cylinders walls have deep scratches or grooves. You might get by with just honing out the juggs. If you need to have them bored .020 over should do.
  11. where do you guys buy your compression testers from? I need to buy one but I don't know whether I could use a regular automotive one or I have to get one specifically for ATV engines. How much are they? Thanks
  12. hey guys. Is any one kit better than the other i.e. Toomey or Vito's? I am looking to get a complete kit with everything like the caps, idle kit, and throttle cable. Where is the cheapest place to get it from? Thanks.
  13. hey man, you should check out rdzracing.com They will true and weld your crank for free. I'm assuming it's as long as you have some other motor work done also by them. Maybe you should look into having them port your cylinders instead.
  14. Hey guys, I have the Pro-Design air filter kit with the foam set-up (lid on, no snorkel, FMF Fatty's) . I was thinking of switching it to the K&N set-up without the airlid on. Would it be worth it performance wise, since I would have to buy another flange to mount the K&N? Also does anyone know if the foam flange can be modified to accept the K&N filter? Thanks.
  15. i was just thinking, aren't the Vito's power pistons supposed to perform better than the SS's in ported cylinders?
