  1. i am heading out tomorrow morning. anyone who comes, look for me. will be hanging out around the drags most of the time. look for the black banshee running around with the bright red nitrous raptor. i'd like to meet up with some of you since i missed the ride last weekend.
  2. i ordered some from ricky stator yesterday. when i get them in, i will post whether i like them or not.
  3. actually, a cranker is the opposite of what you two said. snowmobile cylinders on a banshee bottom end. the reverse cylinder bike in question is a pair of factory banshee cylinders spun around on the motor. carbs in front. pipes straight out the back. it is a big undertaking to do. you have to weld up and then re-cut the transfers in the case. not sure if it is worth the little bit of extra power you may get. does look REALLY trick, though.
  4. never had a problem with a primary drive sprocket until about a month ago. shattered it into 3 pieces. luckily, it didn't tear up the output shaft. put another sprocket on and kept going.
  5. stock gearing is 3.06 i had a set of 2.68's on mine and it was cool. would never, ever top out. with 13/44 gears it just kept pulling. had to give them back when my buddy sold his t-rex bike they come off of.
  6. i will definitely watch the 2nd debate. it will be interesting to see, that is for sure. and i don't know about the v.p. debates, i would imagine cheney is gonna chew edwards up...
  7. 8 bucks in shipping costs? better be an assload of dirt...
  8. i have got a pair of 28mm roundslide mikunis if you still have those ones you wanted to trade. almost new. used them a few times when my bike was stock and could never get them jetted right.
  9. yeah, i forgot about the outerwears. gotta have them unless you wanna fill your crankcase with sand. or dirt.
  10. just make sure they are seated all the way on the carbs. and make sure the clamps are tight. never had any problems with mine.
  11. still think if you had kept talking, could've gotten it for free.... i will give ya 10 bucks for it...
  12. you got it for 9 dollars? you couldn't talk him into just giving it to you? pretty cool for 9 dollars though...
  13. how do they egt the motors from the factory to the shipyards? it's not like they can just throw it into the back of a truck.
  14. but which ones go "bling-bling" when you blip the throttle?
  15. i'll post a pic tonite when i get home. a powerjet is essentially an extra main jet. they are adjustable so you can either richen it up or lean it out as needed. you run a powerjet so that you do not have to run as large a main jet. they only flow fuel at pretty much full throttle.
  16. the guy that ported my motor bored out my stock carbs and put powerjets in them. they work great.
  17. were you at rocky ridge when that happened? i see people do that there all the time. between them and the wheelie people, it is a wonder i get any drag racing in out there...
  18. fox pro pilot but saving up for a bucket... gotta have a dream
  19. it is in banshee appearance. thread is entitled "painting shocks", or something really close to that. or just use the search function with the keyword"powder-chrome"
  20. that is the coolest thing i have seen in quite a while. then again, i haven't really got out much lately...
  21. the high on mushrooms comment is great
  22. so lemme get this staright- you can put the TORS crap onto 34mm carbs? uh huh, yeah
