  6. If your gunna buy cylinders, I would buy some that are nikasiled instead of cast iron bore. But that’s just my opinion

  7. What’s up everybody? I’m a long time lurker that can usually get everything figured out with the search feature but I’ve hit a wall, hopefully somebody can help me. I’ve got a 7mm, drag ported stock cylinder I’ve been building. It has 18cc domes, 0.051 squish, +5 timing, and runs on straight 110. The plugs were gapped at .031 to start and after doing the first heat cycle, both plug gaps were around .075. I’ve heard of detonation causing the plug gap to close but I can’t find anything anywhere about plug gaps increasing. Does anybody know if this is a thing? Thanks for any help in advance, I’ve learned a ton on here while I’ve been building both of my ‘shees. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  8. Yep. But I am one of these people that figure I am going this far I might as well especially since I have no idea what shape they are in or how old they really are. I doubt I would be looking at too much extra money, some of course. STB has an excellent vid on that entire process as well.
