better bottom end to mid range. They are a snappy pipe imo i loved them when i had them, you could gear it differently for the road for some more top end too. if i remember correctly, i think a jet size for every 2k elevation change, close to something like that. So for higher elevation you jet leaner because there is less air, so your mixture is getting more fuel to air ratio. So if your a 290 you could run a 270 or 260.
