  1. sorry for the late reply, they were available to buy over here as off road bikes.
  2. I'm not 100% of the rules now but when i did mine five or six years ago you needed the sva certificate to get a v5 (logbook), you could register it as agricultural without a sva cert and then re-register it as plg but they have got wise too that loophole and you can't do it that way. You will also need a letter from the manufacture or the supplying dealer (when new) conferming the date of manufacture otherwise it will end up on a Q plate.
  3. This is pretty much what we have to do to get them legal over here, except for the fenders which we don't need to run also in the UK the last paragraph is not the same for us as we are classed as a car because we pay car tax so therefor can use any road. When I did mine you had to put them through a SVA test to get a log book not just an MOT, not sure if that is the case now. Don't worry about getting any hassle from the law, you won't unless you act like a dick
  4. Don't listen to our merkin cousins they know nothing about anything about ashfelt unless it's 1320 foot long........
  5. 4130 will be fine, tube would be better than solid, od.and thickness is down to each set up and driver style.Make it in a way so it is easy to swap for a different spec one without having to rebuild the whole system.
  6. Yes they are 300 eye to eye but my arms are +3 and made for a longer than standard shock. You can always get custom springs from Faulkners they are not too expensive but I'm sure they could match you up something close from stock.
  7. That's what my old lady says too....well that and fuck off you fat pig depending on her mood.
  8. This is mine with standard R1 springs and with +3 arms they are "just" soft enough but only just, the pit bike shock is probably anything but 500lbs the chinks will write anything on them to get a sale.
  9. They "can" set the front toe separately using the rear axle as a datum, this in theory gets the steering wheel straight first time, on one ever does though.
  10. closer to running than yours ??
  11. That there frightens me, just looking at it makes my toes curl up just a little bit !!
  12. Don't feel down fella, We like you.
  13. Don't be too harsh on the op, I have a vapour on mine and it tells fairy storys when it comes to rpms. the rest is all good though.
  14. Same configuration as what you are doing?? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-1995-2006-YFZ350-YFZ-350-BANSHEE-AC-CURRENT-DUAL-OUTPUT-STATOR-/370637800280?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item564bbc0358 Edit.... just realised that's you.
