  1. I have one on my Banshee, but its not very good. The sound is awesome however. The one on mine is a DyonPort, I used to have a MOTOFAST on my 98, that thing was great. The Dynoport is just a weak copy. Those are the only two that I know of. I don't think FMF did any. I know Alien has one similar.
  2. With stock carbs an open lid Airbox and my Dyno Ports, it is set to 240mains and runs fine. Not sure about aftermarket carbs.
  3. I wash with SimpleGreen, then spray with Silkolene Pro-Prep, it always makes the plastic look brand new.
  4. I race Hare Scrambles here and there, the main issue I have found is that my Swingarm sits VERY LOW to the ground with the AC Skid Plate, I often get caught on things. I run 20's on the rear like all my other trail bikes. Other then that, no major issues.
  5. When I had my Z400 it came with one, it looks like a wrench actually. But a pair of Vice grips will work the same way, just rotate the adjuster at the top or bottom, not sure which one, its been so long since I have adjusted.
  6. I personally prefer MC grips to ATV, so I will usually put some ducttape around the bar to make the throttle side a bit thicker, and a little spray paint and then just saftey wire the grip, never had a problem.
  7. It doesn't show his first three Digits because he is in the same area as you. It will show only the numbers that are different then yours. For EX If my number is 164*555*6012 And yours is 164*555*5552 Then all that will show up for you when I beep you is 6012, because the rest of our numbers match. Hope that makes some sense.
  8. I am around 305 and my 05 Shee sags even when stiffened up. I'm sure a Heavier spring would help out but, not really worth my money right now. But you may want to take that route if you are not satisfied.
  9. This isn't exactly a smaller pickup, but I have an 04 new body style F150 SuperCrew and the bed is too small. It needs the Tailgate down to haul the Shee.
  10. I believe someone said it above, for XC riding, I can't think of anything better then the classic 250r. Sure the 4 strokes are easier to ride, I had a Z400, but after having both a Banshee and an R, I'll take the R in the woods over my old Z400.
  11. I was asking the same question one day, did some searching and here is what I found. This is not in English, but it has the Pics for every year Hope it helps. Banshee List.
  12. My buddy bought his 89R, then took it to Tony Kellner(Barry Hawks old Mechanic) and after he put the pipe on and did some tune ups, he said it was one of the fastest stock 89R's he's ever ridden. Of course my banshee only has a 2-1 pipe, so its not all there on Top end.
  13. After first having a Z400, then having a Shee, and Having a friend w/ a 250r. I can honestly say that I am about to start shopping for a 250r. I love my Shee, but my friends Piped R walked all over my Banshee.
  14. My buddy rode my Banshee around the other day, while I rode his 450, I then saw him sitting in the middle of the field. He was kicking and Kicking, wouldn't turn over. At first I just assumed that it hit reserve, so I switched it over and still no luck. Finally I got it to start, but it sputtered and as soon as you would give it gas, it just backfired or Bogged itself out. The air filter was dirty which was my fault. So now I come to you all. I let it rest yesterday and cleaned out the filter a few hrs ago. Hoping that I wasn't getting enough air with the dirty filter I tried to start it today. I got it to turn over a few times, but as soon as I did it, it would Bog out with throttle. I'm guessing the Carbs probably need to be cleaned as the filter may have gotten some dirt in there. Any ideas past this? I have tried it on both Primary and Reserve, shaking to get gas to all areas. Mods are as in the Signature.
  15. I run at least Cam2 in all my Quads and Dirtbikes. You will thank it come rebuild time, just like a good oil. It actually burns a lot cleaner then regular pump. None of my engines are High Compression either. Never changed the Jetting for race fuel.
