who do you guys trust in IL. or chciago area

i was gonna sell my banshee, but i'll only regret it like last time. i'm gonna do a rebuild top to bottom and was wondering from

some of you out my way who you guys have had good/bad experience with in doing a rebuild? i know some will suggest i do it, but i have no room, tools, time or patience, so thats out of the question, lol

Most the dealers in the Chicago / Milwaukee area SUCK ! thier service depts. are staffed by crack head idiots ! I do all my own work . theres only 1 guy I would trust and he is in Antioch IL on the state line by Wisconsin Kieth @ high performance racing . its a small family owned shop with 2 employees and the guy is anal about detail ! give him a call 847-395-5010 ask for Kieth the owner / mechanic .

awesome, thats the kind of info im looking for...has he worked on your banshee before, is he reasonable as far as $$$ ?

No , I do all my own work , but he is about 1/2 the labor rate of all the others . I have him do all my measuring for the cylinders, and such . He uses a guy for machine work that I found for him thats fast and extremely good ( he rebuilds and races v-8 tunnelhull 2 strokes ! ) he has no franchises like honda, kaw, suzuki, he is just a repair shop , he restores cars, boats, pwc's . like I said , give him a call .
