The Faster Cracker Posted August 16, 2008 Report Posted August 16, 2008 Ok so i dont get to post alot about this kind of thing casue everyone else i ride with has bikes like a 400ex or blaster or z400. so no point of burning up the keyboard about it. until this past weekend! Out at Mudbuddy's and of course i am the only one there again on a banshee or aby kind of serious sport quad for that matter until this guy rolls up with a YFZ450. looks kinda decked so i igured i would end up lining up with him by the end of the day. so we line up on the strip which is about 300 feet and loose loose sand. we launch and i proceed to walk away from him in the most beautiful of fashions. launching in second gear i managed to spin enough to dig down to the wetter sand to get traction almost instantly. i proceed to nose up and it keeps coming up but it timed out perfrectly to where when i needed to back off to keep it from coming over it was time to shift. did the same thing trough fourth gear and left it there grabbed fifth just to screw around. always beat him by atleast 3 lengths except for one time when i missed a gear. what makes it even better is that we had to go about 15 times. when he had enough he came up and said that i had a fast bike and all that stuff and asked me if i want to buy his YFZ from him because its for sale now! I have never been able to in my whole life been able to say that i had something so bad ass to make someone sell ther stuff because i embarrased him that bad. I know this sounds corny but it almost kinda brings a tear to my eye to see the fruits of my labor pay off. here is the link to his craigslist posting. guy selling his YFZ Quote

I've never been impressed with R1 R6 powered quads. I think they haul the mail on asphalt with a wheeli bar but not for offroading. See them get smoked by stroked Banshees at the dunes all the time!!! Tell him he's buying the wrong toy!! lol!!!!! Quote
