TeamRealtreeHD Posted August 2, 2008 Report Posted August 2, 2008 how many bottles of engine ice does it take to fill a dry banshee engine? Just a tad under 1/2 gallon. They come in 1/2 gallon jugs If you drained it completely, whic you should if you were using other coolants in there, it will take 1/2 gallon, like .45 gallons. I had some left over Quote
bansheesickness Posted August 2, 2008 Author Report Posted August 2, 2008 right on...... i bought 2 off internet and dint realize they were half gallons, and i have to bikes to switch over. thanks for the info Quote
TeamRealtreeHD Posted August 2, 2008 Report Posted August 2, 2008 Hey man, no problem. You never know when you may need that other one, or maybe put it in your other bike. It works for sure. Well worth it. These things get hot pretty quick if you get on them. I have 1 or 2 extras sitting in the garage on the bench for whenever I may need it. I saw more coolant leaks in my time out in the coal hills than I can care to mention. If you don't have an extra when you get home, what are you going to use, you know? That's why having that extra 1 might be a good idea. You will like that stuff though if you never used it before. Quote
Animalman294 Posted August 2, 2008 Report Posted August 2, 2008 Ya thats the problem with buyin specialty coolants is that when you need extra you cant mix. So it is better to buy extra to have on hand........... Quote
