nicktoney Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 so i had a question... my one bud got his jugs ported by passion... im not looking to knock their job.. its nice.. just wondered whats with the extra ports.. like.. they added weld to the outside of the jug, and seemed to drill some holes adding a port to each cylinder on the outside... very confusing... just wondering whats the point? ive had Jeffs dune/play port and absolutely loved it... just saw this on my friends bike and wondered what Passions idea was behind it? Those are called worm holes, or auxillary holes The welds on the sides are from opening up the transfers. on the 12 port motors Jim adds the two finger ports in the main intake into the transfers but also adds 2 more window ports through the sleeves into the transfers. His 12 port motors run pretty dang hard. Jim's port work is some of the best I've seen. Always very clean and neat.. Its very impressive in my opinion. :thumbsup: Quote

Everything he does is run through simulation software and engine building programs, then tried and tested in the real world and dyno proven. if he says the extra ports need to be there, then they need to be there! It's a full drag port I had a 4mil with 12 port from jim made 75hp to the wheels with t5 pipes my buddy rode my bike and loved the motor so he bought it and I steppped up to one of jim's 421 cub motors and it is crazy... Jim is a great guy. Quote
