Can anyone tell me about how much HP my bike will be putting out from the mods on my sig.? My compression is also 160. Just curious. Have not gone out and really ridden my bike yet since I got it ported..can't wait to see the difference.

Guessing about 65HP if everything is setup properly.

10000 HP.

Seriously, just a number that can vary greatly from one dyno to the next, one day to the next.

Here's the way it really works.

You build a 100 HP banshee then get upset because a 70 HP banshee beats you...because their dyno was more conservative and the bike was better setup with a different rider.

Or the opposite.

A dyno is good for one thing. Well...two, actually.

Comparing the same mods on the same bike within the same day/temp/altitude/humidity, etc.

Or...if you want to sell motors that don't compete at tracks....or have any real competition at the track they're running at.

Builders that sell motors based on dyno numbers alone and without real world testing or real competition from known tracks are just blowing smoke...IMO.

But it is nice to see a dyno run on the same bike for this pipe, then this one, then this reed setup, then this dome configuration, etc.

Sorry...I'm off work today, end of rant.
