ChippewaTSI94 Posted July 16, 2008 Report Posted July 16, 2008 Okay guys, sorry for what is probably a very noob question... but here goes. I took apart my carbs to clean them and remove the TORS system, and I disconnected all the plastic tubing that goes to them. I can't seem to figure out what goes where, and neither my factory service manual nor my Clymers book shows a good picture of how to re-connect everything. Can someone post a picture, or at least describe where the long pieces go and where the short pieces go? Thanks a lot! Quote

Thanks a lot! there is a little black 3 inch or so tube that goes between the two carbs and connects the chokes together, then you have the fuel line y it just comes from tank and goes to each carb, the ones that look oarngeish or some maybe a brown color are just vent lines, they just go between the frame and swingarm, just route them so they point down other than that i dont remeber any other tubes Quote

I believe that's what I needed to know. The fuel lines I figured out, obviously, but it was the orangish-clear plastic tubes that I wasn't sure about. If anyone else has a good picture or any other insight, let me know! Quote

If anyone else has a good picture or any other insight, let me know! the orange tubes are for when the carb floods the excess fuel just runs out . the long ones go to the swing arm and the short ones go on the outsides of the carbs you should see where they connect and there is a little holder for them Quote
