Erwin8r Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 I mounted up the Tirnity Exhaust system (thanks Austin!), and everything went relatively smooth. The silencer hangers, however, are giving me a bit of grief. Can you folks confirm that the bolt size for the hangers is 8mm with a 1.25 pitch? I had to source longer bolts (the Trinity hanger requires a 60mm bolt), but although the pitch looks and feels identical to the old bolts, I can't seem to get the new bolts to thread in smoothly. Titan up Posted July 10, 2008 Report Posted July 10, 2008 Are you positive the new bolts are metric? You could very well have a standard 5/16-20 bolt. The thread specs are very,very close between the two and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between them, without pitch mic's or thread gauges :geek: Quote
