I've seen things on craigslist that had pictures, and they looked like shit. Another of the same item had no pictures, and the price was higher. I got the pictures for the more expensive item, and it was almost perfect compared to the others that had pictures. Just don't completely shoot it down because of the lack of pics, try requesting 'em. Idk anything about prices on those things though.
