when i got my crank back from GT perf it has an o-ring on the clutch side bearing. i thought it was strange when i saw it. i pulled it off and of course used the clips. sounds like this guy might have gotten the same type of deal. i think thats why hes questioning whether or not to run the clips. im betting his had an o-ring in there too.

All I did was buy new bearings for the outsides. The one on the flywheel side has the o-ring, and the PTO side has a little nipple on it to keep it from spinning.

So, does the clips on one side hold the crank while using the o-rings, or should I just use all the c-clips??

Use BOTH clips on both sides, I would strongly Advice you too. The clips PREVENT the crank from moving sideways, the nipple only prevents the bearing OUTER from spinning in the cases..
