schamms Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 alright for the last two months i have messed with my carbs tryin to get my 04 banshee to idle... i first just decided cleaning them might be the answer, it wasnt. then i the air screws must not be set correctly, didnt help. i finally got so frustrated i bought used carbs off a running banshee, and still have no idle. the banshee runs starts/runs great but whenever i am at low rpms it just dies. my carbs have the tors removed and i have removed the trottle swtich/ and the clutch switch. any help would be great guys, thanks in advance Quote
okbeast Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 What mods do you have? What all adjustments have you made? Are they synched properly, are your idle screws set properly, etc. Quote
tundish2800 Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 you might need a new throttle cable it might let the slides down to far and choke the motor out a friend of mine had that same problem cable fixed it Quote
schamms Posted June 12, 2008 Author Report Posted June 12, 2008 only mod i have is dg exhaust...it didnt idle beofre i put the pipes on. and i actually already swapped the trottle cable when i swapped for the other carbs. they seem to be synched properly when i checked them, and isnt the idle screw something you add yourself Quote
gemini Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 the idle screw should be on the sides of the carbs if the tors has been removed Quote
