cant get core into core outlet

Im repacking my silencer and i cant get the core to go back into the core outlet because i cant see anything ??help

What kind of silencer is it? Some of them are a pain to get back on, some have the screen in the center and it slides over a very small perforated lip on the other end of the housing to keep it from slipping. As long as you didn

If you've got the silencer full of packing with the core completely out, you're gonna have a hell of a time. You can start over by wrapping the packing tightly around the core as much as possible and still fit back in the silencer. THen you can continue to press more packing in there after you get the core in place.

another thing to add to j's post is, if you didnt tape it pull the packing out and use some tape to wrap it up nice and tight. this will help to get it back in there. dont cover the whole thing just wrap enough to pull the pakcing down to the core and slide it back into place.
