The claiper floats on the two pins that are part of the two large, flat head, hex fastenrs you can see below the e-brake block-off plate. This particular caliper design is common to quite a few ATV's. Mine looks pretty much the same...when you put new pads on, is there a bracket that gets in the way when the piston is pushed all the way in? On the picture you can see some scratches where I had to grind down, where the lower right corner of the pad meets the rotor. Edited June 12, 2008 by huskyohilux Quote

Something is spaced wrong or the caliper has seized on the pins it sounds like. Can you take a top down picture so I can see if you have a spacing issue or a caliper issue? :thumbsup: Quote

FireHead Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 Is this space for the bracket to move up and down in as it should be? measurement is like 5/16" There is supposed to be a bushing on the stud that the caliper mounting bracket that mounts to your axle carrier rides on in that picture. Quote
