rebuilt carbs now revs way up

revs way up when i start it. are the floats sticking? whats causing all the fuel to leak into the engine. its revving way high when it starts , it sounds like its hitting redline. least i dont have any hard starting issues anymore.

make sure your slide is all the way down and the cable isnt sticking

 

or could be a bad reed will cause it to rev weird. but im leaning carb something simple stickign the slide up a bit.

An air leak could cause un-controlled revving. Check the intakes and make sure everything is tightened

also it dies down and idles normal after like 25 seconds. but i dont want to do that again it seems like its redlining the whole time

if the bike is runnign out of fuel it will rev up but im still beating your slides are not all the way down.
