If I get lowball offers I will just hold onto it and hopefully have some time in the near future to fix it myself. Has full tors elimination. Relocated to front all new electrics. except stator. twist throttle, tether kill switch, aftermarket bars, cdi relocated to front. pro circuit platinums, has a port and polish but dont have any details on it. ran amsoil. K&N filter with box. rear chain guard. is red and white. [email protected] 1000, needs a tune up, probally new reeds. redo carbs and rejet would help. she revs when it starts uncontrollably only if it sits for a while. After I had put carbs on and reassembled it it drove around and ran great . now it revs up or just doesn't start. Engine is pretty solid has about 100 miles on new top end. full tors elimination. aftermarket pipes some race ones. aftermarket bars. might need new j arms. paint and finish isnt the prettiest. have ran amsoil since ive owned it for 4 yrs. 651-338-0587 Dan

bump 1100, needs a tune up probally new reeds. she revs when it starts kinda uncontrollably. engine is pretty solid has about 100 miles on new top end. full tors elimination. aftermarket pipes some race ones. aftermarket bars. might need new j arms. paint and finish isnt the prettiest. 651-338-0587 Dan

i got all new electrics. so i actually have spark now. and she can start on the first kick. i was driving it around the other day after throwing the carbs back on for the third time. and it didnt really seem to have any power. im in minnesota elevation is 1000 ft i believe. i have pro circuit platinum pipes and a k&n filter. boyesen reeds. i have 310 mains. after asking last year someone told me to go 310. think every other jet is stock. i will have to check. the main problem is i go out today and start her up and im having the same problem i had last year. its revving like crazy with no throttle on and the slides arent stuck. what would cause all the fuel to get into the cylinders when its sitting. how can i check for air leaks? with starting fluid? or carb cleaner? also one of my reeds the petal is spaces out ever so slightly, are they worn out and would bad reeds cause this? does that have anything to do with my jetting? because she didnt seem to have any power a few days ago.

yeah it looks like the reed petal thing is spaced out a tiny bit would this do it arent they supposed to be closed?

spark plugs are new, yeah i have a spark tester also with the clip for ground and ive tried both switches. i measured resistance on spark plug wires. the spark plug boots didnt have a reading which i thought was strange. then i tried some from my snowmobile which was running and those new ngk boots didnt have a reading for resistance either. im thinking its either the cdi or coil or a ground or bad wire somewhere -

yeah i tried adjusting pickup gap this morning i put a picture inbetween it and tightened it up didnt help. i also ohmed the coil but the positive or negative i cant remember doesnt have any reading to the plug wires. thought it was bad then read that some do that and some dont. so that doesnt make sense and i dont know if mine is bad or not -
currently not running had recent rebuild 2 years ago and only 50 miles since tors removed recently finished removing the rest of tors might be related not getting spark electrical is pissing me off dont have time to deal with it was sitting in shed and ran fine last time engine compression is perfect still will put up pics if anyone is interested aftermarket rear bash guard handle bars pipes and silencers are pro circuit platinum last work last season i didnt even ride but i got it started i changed carbs to some i bought off here with the idle screws installed and came with a new cable and twist throttle. any questions just ask

k the stator seems to be checking out fine 118 ohms on one set of wires and 16 or so on the other set. -
87 been sitting for 2 or 3 years. has had hard starting issues in past. spark used to be weak when it last ran not blue but yellow. finished removing tors with new carbs with idle screws installed and new twist throttle and non tors cable. also is there supposed to be a jumper wire for the old thumb throttle tors electrical connection was this a 2 wire connector with black and black/yelloe wires. ive been checking stuff in yamaha repair manual, everything seems to check out. is my stator bad shouldnt the lights be getting electrical during cranking?

also it dies down and idles normal after like 25 seconds. but i dont want to do that again it seems like its redlining the whole time

nope slides arent stuck, was my first suspicion

revs way up when i start it. are the floats sticking? whats causing all the fuel to leak into the engine. its revving way high when it starts , it sounds like its hitting redline. least i dont have any hard starting issues anymore.

i have k&n with top of box removed and pro circuit platinum pipes. and boyesen reeds. elevation is 1000ft only ride in summer like 55-70 degrees what should i jet at.

how much for all a-arms and fmf fatties also any aftermarket rear axles? shipped to 55128?

are 06 axles stronger? or just more cause its less used? my stock axle bent pretty easily but ride it hard and do some jumping? should i just get aftermarket? what kinda axle? i heard durablue isnt great for jumping. shipped to 55128 lmk.
