new2_2stroke Posted June 2, 2008 Report Posted June 2, 2008 Would anyone happen to know if the 400ex has the same bolt pattern as the Banshee? Any help would be appreciated Quote
sinisterboo Posted June 2, 2008 Report Posted June 2, 2008 nope, theres about 1/16 of an inch difference, and dont just hog out the holes and make em fit, you will be sitting in the emergency room waiting for the to sew your ass back on after your wheel falls off. I re-drilled and extra set of yamaha holes in my extr wheels so my spare paddles fit just about anything. Maybe someone on here will send you a template to drill em. Quote
new2_2stroke Posted June 2, 2008 Author Report Posted June 2, 2008 (edited) I seen some paddles for sale for 100 bucks. thought they might be worth the buy, but they came off a 400ex. Edited June 2, 2008 by new2_2stroke Quote
sinisterboo Posted June 2, 2008 Report Posted June 2, 2008 that second set of holes looks like yamaha bolt pattern, i think one is 115mm, and the honda is 110mm, but I may have that backwards.... Quote
BellicoseBanshee Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 Honda 450R/400EX/250R is 4/110mm and Banshee is 4/115mm. The '89 Banshee, and maybe some other years as well, is 4/156mm... Quote
sinisterboo Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 yea, 89 banshee was the only year with the same bolt pattern front and rear. we put 4 fronts on one once for shits and giggles, and to our amazement it didnt hook up for shit! go figure! we get bored easy round here when everything is running right.
