Keyser Soze Posted June 2, 2008 Report Posted June 2, 2008 (edited) The thing only starts when you pour gas only the airfilter. After it gets warm it will start right up. Mods which might have an effect are as follows, coolhead 22cc domes, fmf fattys, FMF reeds. Main jet is a 310, carbs were just rebuit. I thought maybe there was not enough compression to suck the fuel in? But why would dumping gas on the airfilter helps it? Bad reeds? Any advice would be appreciated. r_flagel222 Posted June 2, 2008 Report Posted June 2, 2008 drain the gas and oil from carb bowls.... oil and gas may have seperated.... when u turned the petcock on it may have filed the bowls with oil and no gas... mine did that alot when i was runing torco gas with klotz benoil.....its worth a shot...
