dajogejr Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 Get a clymers manual (30 bucks or cheaper) and do it yourself. Pickup a clutch kit from Jeff @ FAST. 90 bucks or so...it'll last a long time. He can also walk you through checking the rest of the clutch components. If you have worn inner and outer hubs, a new clutch won't last long...and the inner hub and pressure plate are CHEAP...like 50 bucks or something... And please turn your caps lock off... Quote

gregrob Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 I would get a tusk kit from rockymountainatv.com Get the "heavy duty kit" 46 bucks, use 3 of the heavy duty springs they send you and 3 of your stock ones. Changing the clutch is very simple. Should take you about 20-30minutes. Quote

gregrob Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 True, I should have said the "installation" should take 20-30 minutes. You should soak the clutch fibers in your choice of trans oil for at least 4-5hrs., Quote
