is my coolant leaking into my engine?

well i just took my engine down due to having to split the cases to re-seal them and my engine only has maybe 10hrs on it...my pistons were only had carbon in the middle...there was about a 1/4" ring all the way around the pistons that were clean does that mean im burning coolant or is it just because my top end is so fresh? thanks

i think its because its fresh. you can smell your exhaust...if its sweet, then your prolly burning coolant.....keep an eye on the level

i know you cant do it now but if you ever think youre sucking coolant just pull the cap off the radiator while its running and check it out.
