tundish2800 Posted May 18, 2008 Report Posted May 18, 2008 Does anyone know what gets paint off of plastics with out have to sand it off? Quote
Bansh-eman Posted May 18, 2008 Report Posted May 18, 2008 are you talking like little spots or like the whole thing was painted and you want to remove it? Quote
Bansh-eman Posted May 18, 2008 Report Posted May 18, 2008 The whole thing not sure if paint stripper would hurt the plastics or not, might send theshee a message and ask him. Quote
250psd Posted May 18, 2008 Report Posted May 18, 2008 Your best bet is to sand it. Paint strippers usually contain acetone and will eat the plastic. One of the best ways to remove paint from plastic IF YOU ARE NOT REPAINTING is brake fluid. Quote
Bansh-eman Posted May 18, 2008 Report Posted May 18, 2008 hell a pressure washer might take alot of it off too now that i think about it. Quote
njbanshee Posted May 19, 2008 Report Posted May 19, 2008 i like the powerwashing idea, i'd try that first. Quote
