jonnyb Posted May 11, 2008 Report Posted May 11, 2008 Just picked up my engine yesterday from a&s and Dan did my tors elimenator. After putting my engine in and getting to the carbs out there wasn't an idle kit put on it. Did Dan forget or does it not need it? Quote
r_flagel222 Posted May 11, 2008 Report Posted May 11, 2008 from what i know and have experinced you will need the idle kit......if your throttle cable has enough slack in it, you maybe able to use it to adjust your idle by pulling up your slides a touch for higher idle....but , i dont recomend that. just my .02 Quote
BaNsHeEs RuLe! Posted May 11, 2008 Report Posted May 11, 2008 yea, the idle kit is good, thumb cramps really bad holding the throttle slightly in to keep her runnung....LOL, yea, you will need the idle kit. Do it yourself, just drill and tap the carbs, there is a killer thread on here about it. Quote
jonnyb Posted May 11, 2008 Author Report Posted May 11, 2008 I figured it did. Just got it back from the builder from doing a complete rebuild, clutch, and port. Told him to do the tors. He did and forgot the do the idle screws. Now he's gone for two weeks. I guess the tors stay on for now. Quote
