Hello everyone I have a 04 Just got a used set of FMF Gold Front pipes As you can see by my user name im a poorboy can i use my stock mufflers with these till i get money to get the fmf mufflers? and what does everyone think as to what the jeting should be main pilot jet main and needle clip? i have a stock motor k&n filter with stock air box.

It is a crap shoot until you save up like $40 to buy the silencers that go with the pipes. I dont know if the stock silencers will work with them or not. IF you had the proper silencers, we would still need to know your approximate elevation to make a decent recommendation.

 

While your saving your money, research PLUG CHOP on here, don't cost nothin'!!!!

elevation is 150 ft above i have read alot on plug chops i have a good understanding on jeting the carbs. I was just wondering if the stock silencers would work and maybe what a good starting point would be. Oh and if you can point me to a site for a good used set used silencers for 40 bucks that would be great as well ever time i see them on Ebay they go for 60 to 70 bucks may not seem like alot but i am truly a poorboy. And thanks for the reply ill take all the help i can get i would die if i burned up my ride. :shoothead:
