mopar1rules Posted May 3, 2008 Report Posted May 3, 2008 what was the problem with the pro design cool heads, cause my buddy has one on his shee w/19cc domes and he doesn't have any problems? Quote
Screaming Yellow Zonker Posted May 3, 2008 Report Posted May 3, 2008 I have a few friends that run the pro design cool head and they love it. I almost got one but I got a good deal on the Trinity one. Quote
2001Stroker Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 I have a ProDesign cool head, with 18cc domes. I'm at sea level, and making 185psi. My engine has about 5-6 hours on it. I would think that 190psi would have to be with a 17cc dome and at sea level. I don't know if I would want that much compression. Anyways, I love mine. Never had a problem with it. As long as you get the o-rings on there right, you shouldn't have any problems. Use some lithium grease on them to get them to stick to the head. Then, put it on and torque. P.S., to keep your bike in tip-top shape, just do regular preventative maintenance. Keep new tranny oil in it, filters cleaned after every ride, chain cleaned and lubed after every ride, grease any fittings on the suspension, and keep an eye on spark plugs. They can tell you anything you want to know about your engine. Quote
