an air leak?

well im not to sure about it but here it goes.....when i start her up the shee idles fine, but then it starts to go high on idle and whenever i pull in the clutch and shift to first, and let off the clucth a bit it goes back to a normal idle.

 

is this an air leak or what?

normally an air leak will start off fine and then climb without having to pull the clutch or push the throttle. once the motor warms up its will usually climb, but not always. Try getting some carb cleaner and spraying around all your gaskets and seals. If you notice a change in idle when you spary you found your leak
