MarineNYC Posted April 25, 2008 Report Posted April 25, 2008 Ok so I put steel braided lines on when I put my arms on. I bleeded the brakes and they felt stiff and strong. Then i went to ride it. I was backing it down my driveway and I squeezed the front brake. The right wheels seemed to lock up and the left just seemed to slow down but it slowly stopped. dont know if it finally locked up or finally had enough stopping power from the right to stop it. They seem like they are not getting easy pressure Any ideas? Quote
sinisterboo Posted April 25, 2008 Report Posted April 25, 2008 Take the slide bolt out, clean it up, and put a little grease on it. Its the one closest to the ground on your calipers. I just did this on mine. mine were bad enough that i had to sand them back smooth! Quote
IrideA250R Posted April 25, 2008 Report Posted April 25, 2008 yea, clean any corrosion off the slide pins and lube them with a good synthetic brake grease. Quote
Animalman294 Posted April 25, 2008 Report Posted April 25, 2008 Are you sure you bled the lines and the caliper on the side that is not grabbing good. You may still have air on that side and wont allow it to grab as hard as the other.......... Quote
