pasedogg Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 alright so i got my jetting close,but am new to banshees, how fast does the header pipes heat up, i ride it for maybe 3 miunutes after warming it up, and i park and the pipes are not scalding hot, but pretty hot, is this normal.how fast does it get to scalding hot. how fast does it get alsmost scalding hot.i runa a stock banshee. pasedogg Posted April 22, 2008 Author Report Posted April 22, 2008 also i started my bike cold this morning, reved real high, when i pulled out the choke it seemed to fix things up even after the choke was back in, why does it rev so high at idle,any ideas,how do i adjust TORS removed cables so the carbs are in syncc, there damn close now, thats not the problem at isdle, but need to be done perfect. F.BEJARANO Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 My pipes never do get really hot unless ive been riding hard for a long long time. If your bike idles high when warm you probably have an air leak somewhere or your are running too lean on your pilot. Warm your bike up and check for an air leak. If none pull your choke out and if it fixes the problem, turn your air/fuel screw in to make it richer. This should do but if it doesent you need to go up a size on your pilot. Quote
