jamebo Posted June 19, 2008 Report Posted June 19, 2008 from viewing your long sig, it says you have wheel spacers all around. i personally took mine off right when i got it because i heard horror stories of the studs breaking off becasue of the added stress further out then designed. i dont know if this is true, becasue i have never run them. but it is something to think about.mabye someone esle can jump in with some life experience on wheel spacers......? I've also heard this about them. Because of that If I go wider it will be with A-arms and axle. Quote
Michael Jackson Posted June 19, 2008 Report Posted June 19, 2008 ive seen quite a few posts around the forums of guys who snapped wheel stud extenders, i mean think of the force that is being put on those stock studs when you extend them out farther, they are not meant to handle that, its like using a pipe on the end of a wrench, same idea, tons more force = broken neck waitin to happen Quote
