HIgh Rev?

Hello,my 98 shee has a hard time idling, it runs good on the top end, but bogs from idle-1/2 throttle. After it revs up, it will not rev down, sometimes it will rev down REALLY slow. What causes this? Thx

i had the same thing happen to me last winter.. it got to the point where mine stopped running, my problem was the slides on the carbs were sticking open, so we tore it apart and cleaned out the carbs and its running great now

Pilot jets could be dirty, or the air mixture screws could be out of adjustment.

carbs need to be cleaned good and sync'd.... Or you have an air leak.

I know the slides aren't sticking open ... how do you go about finding an air leak?

Need to buy a leak down test kit.. they're about 40-50 bucks from RB racing.

 

I'd try some bigger pilots for shits and giggles.. if that dont work then I'd do the leak test.
