2strokespirit Posted April 20, 2008 Report Posted April 20, 2008 I posted a pic of a crankshaft which I thought was a 4mm longrod it turned out to be a 7mm longrod. I wanted to send it back, after some thinking and doing some homework I contacted a big builder in the states to clear things out, I want a reliable 7mm RZ which can be used for what ever I want to do with it, I do not want as much HP as I can get out of the motor, just want a nice reliable 7mm RZ that rips.. So I am going to built it, already got the coolhead from pro design with the domes, pistons, bearings, crank. The builder, which I will mention if the built is finished, will be designing the motor according to my type of riding and I will do the porting according to the info I get from him. This motor will be linked to a Zeeltronic programmable CDI and power valve controller. On Friday I was still going to built a 4mm, but I think its time for a 7mm RZ, cant wait to feel the torque.... I will keep everyone updated on the project... Quote
bansheeseat$$ Posted April 20, 2008 Report Posted April 20, 2008 That should be a really nice linear engine...I am sure it will be a great all around setup and I bet it will haul the mail too. Quote
