looking to see if anyone in Socal has a cheap beater for sale? i need to get something that doesnt eat my money away liek my truck. i spent 125 bucks last night to fill up. so I want to use that 1500 bucks im getting back in a few weeks to buy a little gas saver, nothing special just has to run well and not break down, and not be a total POS.

Its going to be hard getting a beater for that price. That money is in breakdown territory. Plan on wrenching or buy a little motorcycle. They get great gas mileage.

Does not have to be as gay as mine but at over 100 MPG, yes I said 100 MPG I will be laughing at you too. Plus it will do 65 MPH all day long. Had it since 1980. Its a 1974 Honda Trail 90 with a Lifan 140cc motor in it.

actualy i have found a few Ford escorts and Probes but i got to them too late. I had a probe bck a few years ago i got for 300 bucks, that car was champ!!! i just need something thing beats around town, nothing to make trip in

i just picked me up a little beater! 1500 bucks, it a 1998 Ford Escort. All i need to do is replace the wires and plugs and its good to go. a/c works 6 disk cd changer, 113k on it. now i dont have to spend 130 bucks to fill up my gas tank every 2 weeks!
