extreem9 Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 (edited) So I am in the process of building my first 4mill . I am curious what this piston is. The numbers on it are 513m06450 that one is on the top and c00I5 is on the bottom. And it has a w with a circle around it So I figure it a wiesco. Also I have a 2 into 1 carb and I want to know what the size is, It is a keihin and it has 70ra3 qkq stamped into the side. Any ideas. Edited April 7, 2008 by extreem9 Quote
dajogejr Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 If this is a long rod motor, you have the wrong pistons...by the way. Quote
extreem9 Posted April 7, 2008 Author Report Posted April 7, 2008 Wow dude you are good, were did u find that!!!! No I am just in the tear down prosess right now. I was just curious to know what the bore was. Any idae on the carb. Quote
extreem9 Posted April 7, 2008 Author Report Posted April 7, 2008 By the way that crank in your sig what size is that it looks HUGE. Quote
dajogejr Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 513 is the standard banshee series, 06450 is the diameter, 64.50 mm, or....020 over. For every .25mm it is .010 over. Quote

If the caps are held in by screws.. then their probably 28 pwks I beleive.. if the caps screw on like a stock carb cap then.. only way to tell is to measure them. Quote

Yeah the caps thread on. So do I measure the very inside of the bore, by the needle seat. Its a single carb setup Quote
dajogejr Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 By the way that crank in your sig what size is that it looks HUGE. stock stroke or a 4 mil because the cases aren't trenched. Quote
BellicoseBanshee Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 stock stroke or a 4 mil because the cases aren't trenched. That is correct, plane old +4mm w/long rods. Nothing special... EDIT: Also has the TZ bearing. Quote
extreem9 Posted April 7, 2008 Author Report Posted April 7, 2008 Nice. I cant wait to get mine it should be here today or tomorrow. Quote
BellicoseBanshee Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 Keihin Carburetors My Air Striker (Honda application) matches the chart, so considering it has 70R stamped on it, it is probably a PWK 35mm. :ermm: Also, as dajogejr mentioned, if you are going to use a +4mm with long rods, you need 795 series pistons, not the 513 series pistons. Quote

Last question, so my carb seems to be a 35 is that comparable to 2 35's since the motor is drawing from only one carb at a time. Quote
