the big bore kit gives you a step up from stock cylinders without spending the $ it takes to go to a cub.. i had these combined with the 4mm stroker crank.. it made a great sleeper my friends with 450's had no clue.. lol just sharing my experience with them..

So its just really making a stock cylinder larger, thus providing more power. Would a single 34mm khein (sp) provide enough gas to support this and is this just a bolt on and drop in the crank with my stuff and go or is there other things that would need to be done? Man a cub cost over twice. Oh and utley what kind of hp were you making?

couldn't tell you the horsepower and i was running stock carbs with them and i didn't have a problem.. but my friend has a banshee .30 over, +4 timing, paul turner midrange pipes, 28mm carbs, cool head 20cc domes and we would be neck and neck from 1st to 2nd but after that i would walk away and if we went from a rolling start the walking distance would increase faster..and as i said b4 i was faster than the 450s..
