Why buy stock carbs, you should return them and go bigger. You might even save money, and get better performance. I would never replace a stock part with another stock part. Just my 2 cents.

because i got these stock carbs for 20 bucks. both carbs. i dont see how i lost on that deal, i can re-sell them for 40 easily, and then sell mine too if i end up going bigger. stock is 26 mm i believe, what is a good size to go to without haveing to change a lot of other things, besides boots? i just got these cuz they would have different jets in them and that would tell me if thats the problem by simply putting them in and taking mine out. just cheap. thanks for your post!!! have a good day.

Every stock fuel valve I've seen has two screens in it. It looks like your screen door...but smaller. Long tube (main) and short tube (reserve)

What are ALL of your mods, your riding temps, your weight, altitude...and ALL of the current jetting in the carbs now.

I must have been thinkin of my dirt bike, but I know it has a filter of some sort. :)
