Whats the advantages and disadvantages of a Big Bore vs a Stroker? I am looking to buy a Cheetah Cub kit from M&M ATV, but can't decide on whats suits my needs. Looking for a drag/fun oriented .. more drag, very limited trail riding, with somewhat reliability and running pump gas. Does that kit come with everything you need? Sorry for all the newbie questions. Thaks in advance

How tight are the trails you "sometimes ride"??? I don't know that a cub motor will be very enjoyable for many trails. They are awesome!!! for drag and hillshooting though. I would go with the stroker or stock stroke small bore, You can still use your existing head with these. As I understand the super cubs require a different head and I would think they would limit your transfer area significantly due to the larger bore. I think yoiu would see more usable tq and hp with the stroker vs the big bore.

Sounds like your Ready for the real deal.Skip the mickey mouse bullshit and go with a 4mill 68mm bore Cub!!!Or if you have More $$$$ build the 10mm Cub just look at it this way more-torque!!! lol :evil::evil: But really I would just go str8 with a cub I wish I wouldve never gotten my stockers ported It was just a waiste for me...And now I think my cub is a waiste I want a DM

Get your stockers ported and get a 4 mil long rod stroker crank.

You're not ready for a cub yet...:)

Stockers have a strong play port in them ....

Like Dajogejr said, go with the dune ported stocker with a 4 mil. Large improvement over stockish banshee. You can always upgrade/sell the 4 mil later and go bigger. Learn on this and then proceed upward in power. Most people don't know how to get the most out of what they have, ie (shift points, how to launch off the line, weight transfering from less to more weight on rear axle) to get the most out of the quad.

You don't go from dragging racing your street legal camaro to a top fuel car over night, its the same with banshee. You will get the most out of the quad and stay out of the hospital all at the same time and not look like a dumb ass who can't handle what he/she got for a quad/power.

I would buy the stroker first just make sure your cylinders get ported by a pro if not you could lose a lot of power. you could lways buy a 4mil cub later then your only out the cost of the port job.

Go with the 421 Cub.....(Big Bore AND stroker).

If had to choose a BB Cub stock stroke or a 4 mil stock bore cub, I'd go with the 4 mil stock bore Cub.

To answer your question: longer stroke (+ 4 mil) increases power and tq more than bore (68 mm) IMHO. Unless you're talking about a huge bore increase (i.e. DM, etc).
